Ms. Devasmita Dey Chowdhury ***interests / background*** Type of volunteer activities I am interested in: writing, spreading awareness, meeting people, field work, handling calls, responding letters, managing volunteers and the like. I want to volunteer because i have always done it in some form or the other. what motivates me is the satisfaction i can achieve by helping others. i believe that we are poor and will remain so till every human being is capable of the basics of living. Interests: writing, reading, making friends and reaching out to people. Profile: i am a freelancer and a voice with radio and TV for the last 5 yrs. i hv been on a marriage vacation for the last 6 months and am slowly getting back to work. Volunteer activites I have done: rehabilitation
of child street beggars, visiting old homes and orphanages and working
for them during weekends, collecting funds and old clothes for flood
victims, warm clothes during winters for the labour class and funds
