Dear friend,

Welcome to the Rotary Club Of Bombay Bandstand.

We are always on the look out for new members who share a similar zest and zeal to serve humanity and make a contribution to society by actively participating in our Club activities.

This is a small brief on our activities.

1. Adoption of Laxmi Nagar Municipal School at Khar.

Our Thrust area and major project for the Centennial Year has been the Science Laboratory that has been commissioned, implemented and completed.

In addition we have also provided the school with playground equipment like swing, slides and maze climber.

To ensure clean healthy potable drinking water, we have installed two "Unicom" high discharge water purifiers and have improved their toilet and wash rooms with new sanitary ware.

We have already commenced our second Centennial Project which is to provide the school with a fully equipped Computer Room.

2.Vocational Loan Scholarship.

We have started our Vocational Loan Scholarship and intend to maintain it as a continuing project for our Club

3. Balwadi project undertaken at UCDC 14th. Rd.,
Bandra(W)Mumbai - 50.

. We ensure monthly supply of basic grocery requirements like rice and dal

. We are funding the daily supply of milk to the Balwadi.
. We have provided them with Hepatitis Vaccines.
. We have given frocks to the children at the Balwadi.
. We have also provided curtains for their Hall on the 3rd. Floor.

4. St. Anthony's Home For the Aged at Bandra (W) Reclamation next to Lilavati Hospital.

. Members regularly visit on monthly basis.
. Housie is played with the residents once every month and Prizes given.

. We have installed a PA system for them.
. Nighties have been gifted to the Inmates.
. Bedsheets and curtains for the home have been provided.

5. Shanti Avedna Ashram-Hospice for terminally ill CANCER Patients at Bandra (W) Opp.Mount Mary's Church.

. We have maintained a regular supply of 144 bottles of GELUSIL/Cremafin every month.
. Curtains have been provided as per their requirements.

6. Fellowship & Friendship:

The Club is also committed to a strong bonding and warm fellowship amongst its members. Towards this we have our regular monthly get-togethers with family and children besides an unique experience in the form of a "Connoisseur Wine Club"
