"To cultivate compassion for all species and this planet,
to promote environmental consciousness, and promote naturally healthy
lifestyles and diet."
Vision: We want Mumbai to be more caring about animal welfare and the environment. We want to promote good health rather than medication. Mission: To be an ideal environment for vistors and guests. Services: Educational movies, library on healthy living, animal welfare, environment, and most important the connection between these three. Life experience through internship programmes, summer camps, residential programmes, senior citizens programs. History: Hope to begin next year. We can make a presentation now. Projects: We have had a flea market in Mumbai to recycle used items and raise funds for 3 animal welfare organisations ie BWC, PETA, and Karuna, and now we have a regular secondhand shop year round in South Mumbai to give people the opportunity to recycle things they do not use and give us the opportunity to raise funds while providing people with items at a lower cost. Financials: yearly income: 50 lacs - 1 crore when we are set up. But we have details year by year. Sources of Revenue: We are just beginning and are looking for donors but they would be interested individuals, corporates, and another source of revenue will be our second hand shops. We are willing to be 'adopted' by a corporate. We have a year by year plan and could be self sufficient in 6 years if we get the funding we need. Our total need is 8 crores but a large part of this can be in kind too.
