About us: Janjagruti is NGO based in rural and urban areas. We are working for universlisation of primary Education and empowerment of women in rural areas. we formed some 50 self help groups in rural areas, also we are providing remedial education to weaker students.  We have some 15  non-formal education centres.  Our speciality is in agricultural work i.e. eco friendly farms. In Mumbai, we running 20 classes of non formal education centre.  Also we want to open one co-operative shop for selling goods made by members of self help groups. We planning to do some work in e-governance .

Vision: We want Mumbai to become educated about disadvantaged children.

Services: Street play on education, natural farming models.

 

Impact: 756 children are enrolled in the non-formal centre. 50 self help groups initiated and working.

Corporates can adopt us at yearly sponsorship of Rs. 10 lakhs.
