About us: We are a fledgling charitable organisation with a mission to reach
the deprived and underprevileged in allievating some of the problems
faced by them in day-to-day matters and better their quality of life.

Our primary focus is to deal with the critical issue of malnutrition
amongst the majority of Adivasi and Tribal children.

We distribute a nutritious health mix food supplement "Sampoorna Poshak"
containing 22 ingredients and manufactured in our own factory under strict
supervision.

In association with the Lion's Club International, District 323A and
Lioness Club Lokhandwala, Dahanu and Unique Lion's Club of Vasai we
have already started distribution and have received very positive
reports. The Health Mix is supplied by us to benevolent individuals
and organisations at cost.

As per Maharashtra Government figures, there are about 2118 children
in various stages of malnutrition, in the 10 Talukas comprising the
Thane District of Maharashtra.

We would be obliged if you could help us in our endeavour by

philantrophic and voluntary organisations and individuals will
come forward and lend a helping hand.

Dhana Foundation is a registered Charitable organisation and the
"Sampoorna Poshak" Health Mix food supplement has also be approved
by the Food & Drugs Agency (FDA). On our part we have also subjected
the Health Mix to laboratory tests through Italabs, Mumbai. We have
also applied for tax relief under 80G for donors.
Vision: Our focus is to ensure that there are no more infant and child
deaths owing to malnutrition.

Services: Manufacture and distribution of "Sampoorna Poshak" health mix food
supplement to malnourished adivasi & tribal children and nursing mothers.
Impact: We have, in association with Lions Club, Dahanu, Vasai and others
already provided the food supplement to over 300 children in Thane district.
History?: Dhana Foundation was founded by
Mr. T. S. Santosh Nair in September 2004.

We are a non-profit charitable organisation with a mission to reach the

Our sphere of humanitarian service is in the 10 Talukas comprising the Thane
District of Maharashtra in India.

We hope to expand our reach to other districts as also offer medical,
vocational, adult education and adopt an entire village in the near future.
Projects/Achievements: Distribution projects taken up in three talukas in
Thane district has resulted in an improvement in the children's general
health and they have also shown signs of weight increases.
What is it that you exactly do for a beneficiary?: We provide the necessary
nutrition that is necessary for the beneficiary's daily activities.
How can you work with others? : We could provide the health mix food
supplement atcost to any company, organisation or other NGOs for
distribution at any place of their choice.
