Disha Counseling Center

 

Disha is a center, dedicated to the mental health and vocational guidance of children, adolescents and adults since 5 years. We render a variety of services, namely aptitude testing, career guidance, psychotherapy, family counseling and so forth.

 

To help us in this endeavor we have a team of psychologists, counselors and remedial teachers. Our aim is to empower individuals to help themselves, as we believe that each individual is unique and has in him/her the potential to excel. Thus our motto is: Helping you to help yourself….

 

DISHA OFFERS THE FOLLOWING SERVICES:

PSYCHOMETRIC ASSESSMENTS AND EVALUATIONS:

 

These include aptitude and vocational assessments for IX to XII standard students, Graduates and postgraduates.

Psychiatric evaluations for adults, women and children

Personality assessments.

Specialized assessments for IQ, EQ and work related factors such as achievement, motivation, stress index and so forth.

 

STUDENT COUNSELING SERVICES:

At Disha we offer students the following vocational counseling services:

DISCOVER: Aptitude testing and career selection for students.

HORIZONS: Study abroad and counseling

FUTURESCOPE: Vocational assessment and career counseling for graduates, post graduates and working professionals.

 

PSYCHOTHERAPY AND COUNSELING

For children for a variety of problems such as scholastic difficulties, behavior problems, psychosomatic problems and so forth.

Vocational guidance and career counseling for students.

Counseling and psychotherapy for adults and adolescents.

 

WORKSHOPS FOR NGOs & NPOs

We conducted customized workshop for NGO based on area of specialization.

We conduct workshops for NGOs working with

OUR NGO EXPERIENCE  

·   Aptitude testing & Career Guidance for Salaam Bombay, Mumbai. Salaam Bombay , works with children from under privileged backgrounds.

·   We have conducted scholastic assessments for under privileged children and have worked with the Sahara Foundation.

·   We also conducted an aptitude testing and career counseling workshop organized by Koro, Mumbai  , who works for the under privileged youth.
