ANIMAL LOVERS ASSOCIATION
SOCIETY (ALAS) was formed in MAY 2004 to help stray animals
in distress between Mira road to Bandra in Suburban Mumbai.
We run a mobile clinic equipped with emergency drugs and medical
facilities. A vet, a compounder and helpers attend to sick or
injured animals on the spot and even hospitalise them whenever
needed.
We help in sterilising and treating stray dogs particularly and
are actively promoting the cause of vegetarianism . We condemn
the cruelty to animals and birds in any and every form and have
opposed illegal slaughter of animals, their brutal transportation
and merciless treatment before being sent to slaughter houses.
