About us: Aviraje Educational
Society is a registered secular society working for the welfare
of the less privileged slum area's poor children. It
has already started its kindergarten section where children
from slum areas have already started learning. At present
we are focusing the slum areas of Kandivli (E) in Mumbai. The
Slum includes : A) Damu Nagar B) Gautam Nagar C) Ram Nagar
D) Kranti Nagar E) Hanuman nagar. (These Slum areas are some
of biggest slums in the world ) Thousands of children
here are deprived of even bare minimum fundamental necessities.
Services: english medium education (quality
at par with public school) for poor slum area children.
Impact: currently we are teaching 12 children
but due to insufficient funds we are unable to increase the
number.
History: Started in june 2004
