We are observing World Mental Health Day on October 10th and
Mental Health Week from Oct 4-10 in a grand manner throughout
the country. The theme for this year is "Mental and
Physical Health Across the Life Span".
The aim is to spread information and awareness on Mental
and Physical Health as well as on the Mind Body relationship.

All Zonal, State and Local branches of IPS are requested to
celebrate the WMH Day and Week in an appropriate manner. Office-beareres
of IPS as well as experts may be invited to give lectures and to
lead symposia, seminars etc. A mental health exhibition may be
orgnised, if feasible. Any other useful and informative activity
may be taken up. It will be gainful to involve
NGOs, public persons, educationlists, journalists, social
workers etc interested in mental health activities.
