JalChitra is an easy-to-use water audit and management software
developed by Dr VikramVyas. While using the software, the user can
feed in the map of one’s village in the software and highlight the
water bodies that exist in the village, including borewells, lakes,
ponds and smaller water bodies.
The database on water will be collected and divided with the village
population, giving the user an account of how much water an average
villager can consume.
The idea is to map and audit all natural resources in a village and
provide a strong database with graphs and statistics on the water
scenario in a particular village.
