LACG -- exploring concept of Lead LACGs in each ward 

We would like to explore the concept of Lead LACGs in each ward.
The Lead LACG would help other LACGs to get established in that ward.
The Lead LACG would act as a facilitator along with the Nodal Officers and Ward Officer for all matters pertaining to the LACG Charter.
One of the drawbacks of most ALMs was the inability to go beyond one's social class (up or down).
 
An objective of the LACG concept is to be as participatory and inclusive as possible.
The Lead LACG would help to achieve that.
Thus apart from capability and commitment, the right attitude is also needed in the Lead LACG.
 
It is also going to be a big challenge to include and involve special focus groups which are within a Councillor Ward or Admin Ward. A Lead LACG would play a very important role in ensuring that small groups e.g. small ALMs, CBOs, interest groups e.g. garden-focused, can constructively participate in LACGs. The valuable experiences and strengths of such individuals or organisations are an invaluable contribution to society.
