Summary
AJCBBMS aims to make the people aware of the environment and the importance of a clean and healthy environment. To achieve this aim the Sangha conducts awareness programmes on the effects of pollution and soil erosion on the environment and how to stop it. It involves people in plantation programmes and provides them employment opportunities in the field of farm forestry, agro forestry, horticulture and plant nursery, thus helping them not only to earn a living but also protecting the environment.

Abstract
Jivandip is a Joint Forest Management covering more than 1100 villagers who are mainly dependent on the forest for living. The villagers get the non timber forest products an 50% timber free of cost. The project also aims to protect the various species of plants and animals living in this area.

Abstract
The project aims at implementing the Joint Forest Management programme in Tripura to encourage the people participation in sustainable management of their forest lands and simultaneously using the resources. The project focuses on formation of a resource centre to train personnel from NGOs and communities in the vicinity of the forest on the aspects of JFM who inturn would take the responsibility of implementing developmental programmes in their own areas.
