Abstract
The Health Outreach for the homeless is a health intervention group (HIG) initiative. HIG is a partnership between Asshray Adhikar Abhiyan, Sahra and the Institute of Human Behaviour and Allied Sciences (IHBAS). A mobile clinic goes to Urdu Park in the walled city (near Jama Masjid) twice a week on Mondays and Thursdays between 7:00pm and 9:00pm. The clinic runs in the night because many homeless work during the day. The clinic provides free medical treatment and medicines. A total of 2700 patients are registered and approximately 100 people visit the clinic each day.
