Feb 3: Upen Patel will take care of stray dogs
Upen Patel, model/actor, is going to launch his company 'Saving
God's Little Angles', to take care of nearly two lakh street dogs
in the metropolis, on February 3 with the help of Australian model
Sheryl Wiltchire and another friend Arika Murtza.
"I have also approached Koena Mitra and Abhay
Deol for the cause," he says.
Noted photographer Daboo Ratnani will photograph some
celebrities with their pets.
The organisation will spread awareness and raise
money for the cause. It will also provide sterilising facility,
which will cost Rs 400 (per animal) and will also provide an
ambulance for emergency cases.
"If we can sterilise 40,000 dogs ever year, then by
2009 there will be hardly any stray dogs," he says with lots
of enthusiasm.
