Improvements observed today |
| I've
noticed that some of the garbage bins are cleared twice a
day sometimes. I am also noticing a lot more sweepers on
the road - the main road was swept clean this morning
except for one stretch near the market. |

The
garbage pile seems partially cleared. This is a
terrible spot - with stray dogs |

Actions / Suggestions |
| Despite
garbage having been cleared by the MCGM, the spot
continues to look dirty as the rag pickers are at the spot
through the day, soring the waste, and the sacks of
sorted/unsorted waste lie there all day. Further, fresh
garbage continues to be dumped at the site all day long,
so there is virtually no period through the day when the
bin is clean. House to house collection and elimination of
common bins is the only solution to this. |
