As part of its Community Development Project,
DuPont, Mumbai has provided Writing Glass Boards,
Notice Boards and Planner Boards to Bal Vikas ASMITA
Vidyalaya, a school for slum children in Jogeshwari
in suburban Mumbai. Started in the slums of Jogeshwari
25 years ago, ASMITA, a charitable organisation working
for the uplift of slum people runs several schools
with about 2000 students.
